Download and install the plugin
Upload the .zip file from your WordPress admin panel under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, then activate it.

Create a PicLite account
Sign up for free at piclite.cloud and generate an API key for your site from the console. Takes under a minute.

Paste your API key
Go to Settings → PicLite in your WordPress admin, paste your key, choose your compression preferences, and save.

Upload as normal
That is it. Every new image you upload is now automatically optimised. Use the bulk tool for existing media.
